| Q: How do I create a new Question? |
|
A: If you don't see a question that suits you, don't worry, just
create your own!
You can easily create a personalized question for you or your group. Once you've created the question,
create a RatingRing and invite your friends to join so
you can compare your answers with theirs.
|
| Range |
Answers to questions can include a number within a range you specify and a journal entry or just
a journal entry.
|
| Nickname |
You and the other people who choose to answer your question will be able to quickly navigate to
the question home page by using the nickname. Try to choose a name that's short and easy to
remember. This is also the name that will be used to list your question in the top questions
section of our home page.
|
| Description |
The description is very important because it's what users see when deciding whether or not to
join your question. Try to promote your question with action verbs and explain how this
question is fun or how it will help the people answering it.
|
| Title |
The title is optional and appears on the question directory along with the question itself.
|
| Access Control |
Questions can be public or private. You may choose to require a password before members can
join this question.
|
| Category |
Members can browse through our question directory to find questions to answer. When you create
a question, you can choose which categories you think best describe it.
|
| Recurrence |
When creating the question you can choose to restrict the recurrence options to a set of choices
or you can allow the user to have full control over when they receive the question E-mail.
|
| Fun Demographics |
Fun demographics are a neat way to compare other groups of people. For example, do people who
drive VW Bugs have more fun than people who drive other cars? Do blondes really have more fun?! When
you create a new question, you can also create your own fun demographics or choose from the list created
by other members.
|
| Welcome Message |
The welcome message will be sent to a member when they sign up for your question. You can just leave
the message as-is or add your own personal note.
|
| Recurrence |
If you choose, you can limit the choices users will have when they sign up for your question.
Questions can be asked daily at a certain time (in 15 minute increments), one day a week, only
on weekdays, or only on weekends. Another option is to just answer answer the question via
the Web and not through E-mail.
